2016 Chevrolet Silverado vs 2017 Chevrolet Silverado

What will be new on the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado?

When every new model year arrives, all of our beloved vehicles receive a slew of great upgrades and changes. This can lead to a refreshing dose of excitement for many models. So what will be new on the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado?

2017 Silverado Added Features

The most noticeable change to 2017 Chevrolet Silverado is the addition of two new exterior colour options. The truck can now be adorned with Graphite Metallic and Pepperdust Metallic paint. These two colours will be joining Red Hot, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, Black, Siren Tintcoat Red, Deep Ocean Blue Metallic, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat to round out the 2017 Silverado colour options.

In addition to the added colours, several other new features will be offered on the 2017 Silverado. The truck will now come equipped with a capless fuel system and a Low-Speed Mitigation Braking system. Android Auto has also now been added to the MyLink infotainment system. One of the highlighting new features will be Chevrolet’s Teen Driver mode. This system allows parents to set restrictions on learning drivers. The system will limit the speed of the truck along with the maximum volume of the sound system. A rearview camera will also be included as standard equipment on the Silverado LT trim level.

Chevrolet has revised the Silverado’s High Country package for the new model year, adding IntelliBeam headlights, power adjustable pedals and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.
