1. Amherstburg River Lights

Toddy Jones Park and Navy Yard Park in Amherstburg are your hosts for some of the most beautiful scenes you can hope to see this month. From now until January 4, the town will be lit up in full-on Christmas vibes, complete with a Gingerbread House that offers awesome hot chocolate and snacks!

2. Kingsville Fantasy of Lights

Also in Essex County is Kingsville, which hosts its Fantasy of Lights festival every year from now until January 7. Besides the beautiful light shows that you can gaze at, there’s also a Gingerbread Gazebo and Fantasy Express Train that runs every Saturday and Sunday. We can’t recommend it enough!

1. Story Time with Santa

If you want to give your kids a Christmas experience they won’t forget, take them to Devonshire Mall on December 5, 12 or 19 at 10 am. There, Santa will be telling stories at his Winter Woodland home, and your child might just get to take the books home free – make sure they’re on the nice list first!

2. Miracle in Sandwich

On December 8th, Sandwich Towne will be host to one of the largest Christmas festivals in the area. A traditional Christmas breakfast, lunch with Santa, and tree-lighting ceremony is all on the docket, as well as tours, live music and more. All in all, it’s one of our top choices for you to get in the holiday spirit!

3. “In the Christmas Mood!” Concert

You’re invited to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 301 in Tecumseh on Sunday, December 9, as the Greater Windsor Concert Band will be hosting its annual holiday production. Not only will you get to take in some awesome music, but there’s also a bake sale and plenty of prizes to win!
