The 2017 Chevy Colorado has three engine options available. The first is a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that can reach up to 200 horsepower and gets an estimated 15L/100km city and 11L/100km highway. The second engine option is a Duramax® 2.8-litre Turbo-Diesel engine that gets 181 horsepower and an estimated 13L/100km city and 9.5L/km highway. The third engine is a 3.6-litre V6 engine capable of reaching up to 308 horsepower and an estimated 16L/100km city and 11.5L/100km highway.
The Colorado was designed to perform well in both city streets and rugged terrain. Inlaid triple-sealed doors, a thick windshield and side glass, and liquid-applied sound deadener helps to keep outside noise out, creating a quiet, comfortable cabin and a thoughtful design puts all of the necessary controls within easy reach of the driver.

The towing capacity of the Colorado depends on which engine option you choose. The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine can tow a maximum 3,500 pounds. The Duramax® 2.8-litre Turbo-Diesel engine has a 7,700-pound maximum towing capacity, and the 3.6-litre V6 engine has a 7,000-pound towing capacity.
